A serious underdog fighting his first ever proffesional bout against one of the greatest boxers of the generation, many wrote Mcgregor off for chosing to have his boxing baptism with an undefeated veteran great like Floyd.

Even though the UFC fighter lost the fight in the 10th round by TKO, many observers where shocked and impressed by the 29 year-old's performance against 'Money'.  Although a former staunch critic, Mike Tyson is finally giving Conor McGregor some credit as a boxer -- remarking that he truly gained some respect for the Irish superstar after watching the Mayweather fight.

He is not alone.

Many who watched the fight expected it to be a one sided circus, purely for entertainment. What they got instead was a fight worthy of all the hype that preceded it.

Infact according to most experts, the trash talking Irishman won the first three rounds, and hit Mayweather with more shots than any other fighter in his career, except for Canelo Alvarez.

If you can remember before the fight,  when experts and celebrities were giving their predictions, Tyson gave this pretty brutal forcast:  "McGregor is gonna get killed in boxing."

"McConor put his dumbass in a position where he's gonna get knocked out because this guy's been doing this all his life since he was a baby."

But now Tyson has made it clear that he was truly impressed with Mcgregor's display, and the way he handled himself in his first proffesional bout against the legendary boxing champion Floyd Mayweather.
