Leonardo DiCaprio Oscars 2016

The 88th Academy award ceremonies are here again and with a string of the unusual  and the unexpected in the pipelines, the Oscars 2016 is promising to be an exceptional event.

Predictions are underway and one of the nominees for this year's best actor role is non other than Leonardo DiCaprio. He is nominated for action adventure movie the Revenant.
DiCaprio pulled off a remarkable performance in the gritty movie, and it earned him his third Oscar nomination in a career strewn with critically acclaimed performances.

Just two weeks ago the actor won the bafta award for best actor, and he is now the strong favourite to take home the prestigious golden statue. If DiCaprio wins it will be his first ever Oscar win.
He is up against Eddie Redmayne, Matt Damon, Bryan Cranston and the talented Michael
But the 41 year old DiCaprio is still the hot favourite for the the golden statue this year.

Inspite of the Boycott of this year's awards by some prominent Hollywood figures protesting the lack of diversity in the nominees, this year's host; Black Comedian Chris  Rock, will certainly make the Oscars of 2016 memorable.
And Leonardo DiCaprio will be keeping his fingers crossed.
