Jay Z and other celebrities condemn Dallas shooting  

Tragedy hits and celebrities all over the world react to the horrible Dallas shooting where four police officers were shot dead.

Other officers were wounded in the attack as well.

The mind boggling violence took place on Thursday evening during a protest against the deaths of two black men in the US.

Several celebrities voiced out their reaction to the Dallas shootings.

Singer John Legend was one of the first to take to Twitter.  This is what he wrote:

"These Dallas shootings are horrific. Killing these officers is morally reprehensible and completely counterproductive to keeping us safe.

"Being against cops killing is not equal to being for killing cops. We need peace in our streets."

Demi Lovato simply shared: "My heart hurts. God help us."

'Motel Rwanda' actor Don Cheadle wrote;

"Sick, misguided mfs all around!"

 Rapper Jay Z released a song titled Spiritual

This is what the hiphop Mogul wrote:

"I am saddened and disappointed in this America - we should be further along. We are not. I trust God and know everything that happens is for our greatest good, but man… it’s tough right now. Blessings to all the families that have lost loved ones to police brutality.”

Shockingly, the Shooter who has finally been identified was a US army officer who served in Afghanistan.

The Dallas shooter's name is Micah Xavier Johnson.
