A bride to be has been devastated when her husband to be was crushed by a train, just one day before the wedding day.
A champion bodybuilder has been killed after being hit by a train on the day before his wedding .
Happy days turned to horror. Davie Hennessey, 51, was due to marry fiancée Elaine Elliot yesterday but was killed at a railway station just hours before they were due to tie the knot.
He was a former body building champion. The devastated 30-year-old paid tribute to the former Mr Scotland on the same day they should have been celebrating their marriage , the Daily Record reports.
Elaine, from Bishopton, Renfrewshire, had this to say about the man that death tore out of her grasp.
"Davie was literally the most amazing person I have ever known.
"He’s my best friend, love of my life and soulmate. Don’t know what I’m going to do without him.
"Today I was going to be his wife. This will always be the case in my heart. I’m completely broken."
Police are still investigating how he came to be on the train tracks in the face of a speeding train.
