He already has a good relationship with the interested Chinese club. The 35-year-old is reportedly set to be offered a whopping £8million-a-year to join Guangzhou Evergrande next summer, where he is already an ambassador.
He will be in good company. A move, which is being reported by the Daily Mail , would see him reunited with former Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari, who managed the Blues for seven months of the 2008-09 season before he was given the boot.

Countries like China, Qatar and the American MLS have become favorite destinations of aging players in the English Premier League and the European leagues.
The resilient skipper still has his heart set on Chelsea. He has recently come back from an ankle injury as he looks to reclaim his place in Antonio Conte's starting XI.

The fact remains, If he does not secure his place in the squad,
John Terry could quit Chelsea in the summer for an £8million-a-year deal in China with Guangzhou Evergrande.

Of course he will not be the first big name Chelsea player to move China. A few years back, after a scintillating season which saw him lift the Champions league trophy, Ivorian striker Didier Drogba also made a short lived, big money move to a Chinese club.
