It appears the Kim Kardashian Paris robbery drama has finally started to make some sense.
Its been revealed that the popular TV personality's own Chauffeur was allegedly involved in the multi million pound hiest.
Shocking development. Kim Kardashian’s Paris chauffeur is among the 17 people who have been arrested in connection with the jewellery robbery in Paris last year.
Inside man for a well planned inside job. Police confirmed the arrests in connection with the robbery, during which the socialite and reality TV star was held at gunpoint and robbed of jewellery said to be worth more than £8 million) by masked men in a private residence in the French capital on October 3.
The driver arrested for possible involvement in what turned out to be a traumatic experience for Kim, as well as a never ending media circus. The 27 year old driver works for a luxury firm used by the Kardashian family while visiting Paris.
Mass arrests carried out. Earlier reports suggested 16 people had been detained, but Paris prosecutors confirmed 17 were arrested.
Police said the arrests took place from around 6am in different locations in the Paris region and the south of France.
Past criminal records. The suspects, aged between 23 and 72, were already known for robberies and other crimes, according to one official.
Weapons and large sums of cash were confiscated during the police operation. They included multiple firearms, including an automatic pistol, and 140,000 euros (£121,000) .
A day of horror for the television diva. In October last year robbers forced their way into the private residence where Kardashian was staying for Paris Fashion Week, tied her up, held her at gunpoint and then locked her in a bathroom before making off with the jewellery.
Her then bodyguard who was out with Kourtney Kardashian during the robbery was later fired by Kim
