A feared executioner has been executed. Videod beheading has always been one of the Islamic state's most effective terror tactics. And how terrifyingly effective they have been.
A top ISIS executioner was killed recently in an attack on his car during an ambush in Iraq.
The dreaded and much hated Abu Sayyaf, who is thought to have beheaded more than 100 people, is said to have been killed in the Nineveh State after being swarmed by a group of people in an ambush.
A figurehead of horror. The executioner, whose name translates to ‘father of swordsmith’ was known for collecting the heads of his victims and throwing them away in the same hole.
He was one of the main stars of the terror group and their bloody macabre videos. Journalist Muhammad Yawar told ARA News: ‘Abu Sayyaf was one of the scariest executioners in Nineveh. He was known for his huge body and heavy arms. He was one of the renowned faces in the ISIS propaganda videos.
‘Abu Sayyaf was a reflection of the brutality of this terrorist group.’
His death has yet to be independently verified, but it is believed that he was killed along with another militant who was with him during the attack.
The way he really does. It is also unclear how Sayyaf was killed with some reporting that he had been stabbed while others said that he had been shot dead—or both.
What is clear however is that the ISis executioner was ambushed and killed by a large group of people while seated in his car.
