While the world is still reeling from the electrifying encounter between two of the world's top heavyweights boxers at Wembley, the Joshua vs Klitschko rematch is already on the table, with the likelihood of it occurring soon really high.
27 year old Joshua was hoping to make a return in November but scheduled autumn internationals have dampened those plans. Now the fight can happen a month earlier than expected.
Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn is planning a showdown fight for October 28 as the best possible date for the rematch.
Hearn said: “I believe Klitschko will go ahead with the rematch so we are looking at dates.
Following their memorable match at Wembley the IBF and WBA champion kept to his word about staying fit and returned to training just weeks after the brutal fight. He even showed up at Manchester United training and joined them in their workout, and found time to take photos with members of the team and Manager Jose Mourinho.
