In a shocking verdict, the seriously broke former Spice Girls Mel B was ordered to pay Stephen Belafonte spousal support in the tune of thousands of dollars. Belafonte who says that he currently has zero income, and was grossly inconvenienced by the divorce legal proceedings will now receive monthly emergency spousal support from his estranged wife. This amount was granted to help him pay for daily living expenses like food, housing and phone bills.
TMZ reported that the defeated Spice Girls icon has also been ordered by the divorce court to dish out a one-time payment of $US140,000 to cover Belafonte’s legal fees. The monthly payments are also to continue until the pair come to an agreed divorce settlement.
