The king of celebrity scandals After lots of denials and plenty more accusers coming forward to Slam the nail in, troubled Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has finally been indicted by a New York grand jury.
Wednesday, a statement issued by the disgraced media mogul's team said his lawyers decided there was not enough time to prepare him to testify. But his testimony, or the lack of it, made no difference. He was indicted and will now be prosecuted on charges of criminal sexual assault and rape.
His legal team claim that Weinstein who tuned himself in on Friday only learned the specific charges and the accusers’ identities just after he handed himself in to authorities.
They say his request for more time was denied.
