Filming has wrapped up on Game of thrones season 8 which will be the last of the hit television series we've all become addicted to.
Luckily for fans dying for a morsel of spoilers, with the Emmy nominations right around the corner, most of our cast are out on the promotional circuit.
The gorgeous Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, is out talking about Game Of thrones season 8 deaths amongst lead characters.
In an interview via chat, Turner spoke to GoldDerby, one of the leading prognosticators dedicated to crunching the odds on Emmys, Golden Globes, Oscars and more.
She talked about her character Sansa's dramatic transformation last year:
'I always saw something of a warrior in Sansa that I don’t think other people really saw. I always had the feeling that she was learning and adapting and at some point or another it was going to manifest itself somehow, and she manifested it into being a warrior. It felt really satisfying when it happened, and I’m really happy where this storyline for her has ended up.
And then after explaining how the story line had cumulated to that of survival, she then revealed a titbit that had the heart of fans racing.
'I can tell you that there’s definitely a coming together of people. Everyone is coming together to fight the impending doom. There’s a lot of tension between these little groups, battling for what they think is right.'
It’s ‘Game of Thrones,’ so it’s going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before!
Oh no! Who is going to die? We are all still reeling from the major deaths that occurred amongst star characters throughout the show. But amongst those that remain—heroes or villains, its still going to be hard to swallow any more deaths.
But Turner's revelation points to the gut wrenching fact that the deaths haven't even really started. Season 7's had a lack of murder and mayhem on lead characters. Turns out they were saving them to take out next year.
If Winterfell is attacked by the army of the dead, Could Sansa be one of those deaths?
Whether or not Sansa lives of dies, one thing is certain: in the final season of Game of thrones, fans should brace themselves because there will be more blood, pain and tears than any other season before it.
