But when Brooklyn Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez allegedly commanded his fellow officers to shoot 50 Cent last June, it did get the 'In da Club' star a bit shaken.
Gonzalez who is the commanding officer of the 72nd Precinct in Sunset Park is currently under investigation by the NYPD for giving the alleged order in a meeting before 50 Cent was expected to appear at an sanctioned boxing match taking place later that evening in the Bronx.

According to reports by The NY Daily News a witness claims Gonzalez told his officers if they saw 50 at the boxing match, they should pull out their guns and "shoot him on sight."

The witness claims the Inspector made the remark during a police roll call.

Although the over 30 year police veteran Gonzalez remains active on duty, Internal Affairs Bureau is  investigating the situation. Gonzalez in his defense down played the incident, calling it a bizarre joke.

50 Cent on the other hand didn't find it funny one bit. He commented on the story on his Twitter handle.

50's legal representative had this to say:  “He (50) is concerned that he was not previously advised of this threat by the NYPD and even more concerned that Gonzalez continues to carry a badge and a gun.

However, long Before the roll call incident, Gonzalez was known to have beef with the  rapper; Gonzalez once filed an aggravated harassment claim against him over an Instagram comment.
